Customer Success Technical Support Consultant (US)

Semarchy is looking for a Customer Success Consultant with a focus on technical support who knows the Enterprise Software space. Your primary objective will be to solve our existing clients’ complex data-related business issues with our innovative, best-of-breed xDM solution (top-5 analyst rated product). 


  • Work with current and prospective Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance (DG) customers across the US
  • Serve customers by identifying their needs, and then helping to solve both questions directly related to Semarchy technologies as well as closely related technologies in their data management projects
  • Listen to customers and understand client requirements to best support them and provide optimally configured solutions
  • Effectively communicate our product features to customers
  • Communicate the needs of clients to our development and product management team
  • Troubleshoot both functional and performance issues
  • Model the logical business case associated with each client opportunity to successfully match and modify requirements to proposed solutions
  • Aid in the implementation of client solutions (cloud, on-premises, etc.)
  • Recommend improvements, understanding how best to employ our software to meet client needs
  • Liaise with partners across our channel organization
  • Document workarounds and extensions created to solve complex customer problems that can be re-purposed by other customers
  • Train and consult with clients beyond traditional technical support


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related areas
  • 3+ years’ experience working with data and relational databases in a similar role (e.g. Customer Success, Technical Support)
  • Knowledge of database and SQL are a must have, experience with analytics, and business intelligence solutions, or master data management tools is a big plus
  • Passion for the job and working in a customer focused environment
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Solid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Hybrid, Private, etc.)
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Solid technical background. Important technologies include: SQL - Java - Linux
  • Excellent presentation / soft skills (a presence / good personality) and enthusiasm
  • Preferred Skills - Strong references of your character, teamwork, dedication to clients’ success
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Ability to write concise knowledge base articles to guide users
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and creativity skills
  • Ability to work independently and swiftly learn new and apply technologies to various business challenges
  • Customer oriented and able to meet deadlines in a friendly and professional manner
  • Consistent solid performance and great teamwork, along with adaptability, ingenuity, candor and flexibility are required as this role requires an individual who can perform a wide range of tasks
