Training Consultant

Semarchy Inc. is looking for a Customer Success Consultant to join our all-star team. Your primary objectives will be to support prospects and clients for our data management platform:

  1. Provide Training on the Semarchy xDM technology.
  2. Provide post-sales consulting on data management projects.
  3. Build and deliver demonstrations of the technology to prospective clients.
  4. Participate in technical support cases where appropriate.

This position will focus on Training and Consulting, with peripheral involvement in other aspects. You should have knowledge of the Enterprise Software space, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, fun, and exciting environment.

Our top candidates should be enthusiastic, highly motivated, self-sufficient, well organized with 3+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Consulting, Trainer). Consistent solid performance and great teamwork, along with adaptability, ingenuity, candor and flexibility are required as this role requires an individual who can perform a wide range of tasks.


You’ll be working with our Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance (DG) clients across the US. Having technical skills to troubleshoot issues is important. The technology stack includes relational databases, Java application servers, and deployments to both cloud and on-premises customers.

Semarchy differentiates itself by conducting training sessions tailored to the needs of each client. This results in higher value for customers as well as more variety and interest for the trainer. Measures of success include customer satisfaction and contribution to overall team and business success.

In addition to conducting 3-5 day training sessions, you would provide consulting on best practices and on developing an effective implementation of the Semarchy solution.

  • Conduct 3-5 day training sessions on-site or remotely
  • Provision training environments on AWS or Azure for clients to use
  • Listen to customers and understand client requirements to best support them and provide optimally configured solutions
  • Effectively communicate our product features to customers
  • Communicate the needs of clients to our development and product management team
  • Model the logical business case associated with each client opportunity to successfully match and modify requirements to proposed solutions
  • Aid in the implementation of client solutions (cloud, on-premises, etc.)
  • Recommend improvements, understanding how best to employ our software to meet client needs
  • Train system integration partners in our channel organization
  • Tailor the training curriculum based on the customer’s needs and new product features as updates are released


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related areas)
  • 3+ years’ experience working with data and relational databases
  • Knowledge of database and SQL are a must have, experience with analytics, and business intelligence solutions, or master data management tools is a big plus
  • Passion for the job and working in a customer focused environment Solid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Hybrid, Private, etc.)
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Solid technical background. Important technologies include: SQL - Java - Linux
  • Preferred Skills - Strong references of your character, teamwork, dedication to clients’ success
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and creativity skills
  • Ability to work independently and swiftly learn new and apply technologies to various business challenges
  • Customer oriented and able to meet deadlines in a friendly and professional manner

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Data and Relational Databases: 5+ years (Required)
Comfort writing SQL queries: 3+ year (Required)
Education: Bachelor's or equivalent combination of training and experience (Required)
Required travel: Up to 75% (Required)
