Work with projects
Resources in Semarchy xDI are organized into Projects and Folders.
Project organization example
A typical organization for a project is:

(folder): Contains all metadata resources. -

(folder): Contains all development resources.-

(folder): Contains all processes. -
mapping
(folder): this folder contains all mappings.

Create projects
To create a new project:

Right-click in a blank area of the Project Explorer to open the contextual menu or open the File menu in the menu bar, and then select New > Project. The New Project wizard opens.

In the Wizards filter, enter Project, and then select the General > Project item in the tree view.

Click Next.

Enter a Project Name and then click Finish.
Create folders
To create a new folder:

Right-click a project or folder in the Project Explorer and then select New > Folder in the contextual menu. The New Folder wizard opens.

Select the parent folder or project in the wizard.

Enter a Folder Name and then click Finish.
You can organize folders within a project and resources within folders using drag and drop operations or using the Move action in a resource’s contextual menu.
The global project
The global project is added by default to any workspace. It contains the following shared resources:

Configuration definitions.

By default, the templates imported from the Internal Resources view (see Import templates).
Sample projects
Semarchy xDI Designer offers sample projects that demonstrate certain use cases.
These projects are shipped with the default installation or are added automatically when installing certain Components.
Sample projects can be imported:

From the Welcome page (Help menu > Welcome):

When creating a Project: select New in the File menu, then Example.
