Gartner Data & Analytics Summit Americas (Virtual)
Event - Virtual | 4-6 May, 2021
Semarchy was pleased to return as Premier sponsor of Gartner Data & Analytics Summit Americas in 2021. While we would have preferred to gather in person, we were excited to participate in this virtual Gartner format as one of our biggest and most important events of the year.
About the Event
As in years past, we were excited to have a client present a unique case study at the event. JR Smith from FLIR Systems presented "Master Data Management at FLIR - The Recipe for Success."
Available to watch on demand by clicking below, this session discussed how Master Data Management (MDM) touches every other aspect of data management. It is also the foundation for quality analytics, reporting, and process automation. Increasing regulatory requirements, M&A activity, complexity of information systems, and value of data reinforce the criticality of MDM and prompted FLIR Systems to recommit to making data a priority. Learn from FLIR’s experience implementing MDM as you formulate your own recipe for success.watch
New to Semarchy this year, CEO TH Herbert moderated an interactive roundtable discussion, designed to be an interactive conversation around "How to Combine Data Management & Governance to Improve Business Value."
Business managers are more hands-on in data management and governance, making it critical to effectively integrate, refine, and explore data that spans customers, supply chains, employees, etc. This roundtable discusses the problem of data silos, the proposed solution of a data hub, and how it spreads the glue of data governance, MDM, and data quality. Join to discuss the tradeoffs of converged platforms, and keys to successful data hub programs.
While we don't have a recording of this conversation for participant privacy reasons, if you would like to discuss this topic, get in touch!
