Semarchy Announces Cloud MDM Success at the Gartner Enterprise Information & Master Data Management Summit
DiamondStream goes live on Amazon Cloud with Semarchy multi-domain MDM
Gartner Enterprise Information & Master Data Management Summit, Las Vegas, NV – April 2, 2014
Semarchy, the Data Convergence Company today announced that DiamondStream, a leader in marketing analytics for Gaming, e-Commerce and Travel & Entertainment, is leveraging the cloud-hosted Convergence for MDM™ platform to successfully operate complex data matching and consolidation processes.
“This was a perfect example of speed and agility of Cloud MDM implementation,” Gauthier Vasseur, Semarchy’s COO, remarked. The project showed results in the first two weeks, with Semarchy Convergence for MDM™ quickly installed on Amazon Web Services using RDS and EC2. DiamondStream developed a number of Oracle scripts for loading and integrating the raw data into the Semarchy hub, and the company now uses this single platform to centralize, cleanse, enrich, de-duplicate and consolidate over 14 million casino patrons.
“We chose the cloud version of Semarchy’s solution, which fits perfectly in our infrastructure. Its processing power combined with its agility made it an ideal match,” Dean Donovan, Managing Director at DiamondStream, said.

The real challenge in this project was to design complex consolidation rules for matching and merging large volumes of data. “In just a couple months and with a team of 3, DiamondStream was up and running and on top of things,” Matthew Dahlman, Semarchy’s Technical Director, declared.
