San Francisco, California

Semarchy, the Evolutionary Master Data Management (MDM) firm, announces today the company is moving its headquarters to the United States. Semarchy Chief Executive Officer Salah Kamel is relocating to San Francisco to accelerate the company’s growth in the North American market and worldwide. This move comes at a time when the company is experiencing triple digit growth in North America and sees opportunities to benefit from a rapidly expanding MDM market.

“North America represents a huge opportunity for Semarchy,” Kamel says. “Moving the company to the US now is the perfect time to capitalize on the growing MDM market especially in the midmarket segment which we are uniquely positioned to serve. The move also comes as we’ve established mature business operations in the UK and France.”

Moving Semarchy headquarters demonstrates Kamel’s commitment to invest in Semarchy and recognizes that the US is the right strategic hub for making vital decisions and expanding the business. “Being in San Francisco,” says Kamel, “puts me close to new customers and partners.”

This move to the US will reinforce Semarchy’s key goals of increasing customer growth and customer satisfaction. Semarchy is poised to expand its footprint among large enterprise businesses. It also has a unique focus on the mid market where MDM traditionally was not affordable because of the high cost and resources required to implement legacy MDM systems. Semarchy’s agile solution has dramatically increased the success of MDM programs. As a result, the company is well positioned for new partnerships in North America that will democratize MDM, opening the market to businesses beyond the Fortune 1000 companies.

“When we first heard about agile MDM, it immediately resonated with us and the clients we serve,” said Preston Gregg, Executive Vice President and General Manager for North America of Entity Group, an independent consulting partner focused on digital transformation and data process outsourcing. “We became a Semarchy partner not just because of the great technology but because we knew the MDM market is hungry for a costeffective solution that is focused on fast ROI. We’re excited that Salah is making this move to better serve our clients.”

Semarchy recently announced that Steve Millard joined as Chief Operating Officer. He will be focused on growing the company’s sales and marketing operations. Matthew Dahlman will act as the Vice President of Worldwide Customer Success out of Semarchy’s headquarters in San Francisco.
