Install the SAP component
If you did not install it yet, install the SAP component in Designer by following the component installation process.
SAP setup resources
To use SAP with Semarchy xDI, you need to set up your SAP server. This process requires additional code and settings. You can find these in a resources ZIP file, which you can download from the Semarchy website at this link. Download and extract the ZIP file to a location of your choice.
When following the SAP server setup instructions, several steps reference resource files from the archive. Consult the resource files and their content at that time.
Third-party libraries
The SAP component requires the SAP JCo libraries to work. Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot distribute these libraries with Semarchy xDI. You must download them from the SAP website yourself.
After you have the necessary SAP libraries, create a SAP module for your project, and add the libraries to the module.
